Expect to find a place where a Jewish person is comfortable worshipping Yeshua for years to come or hearing about him for the first time. Expect to find a group of Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua committed to his Kingdom. Expect to find lively worship music, prayer with kavanah, relevant Bible teaching, refreshing relationships, and a focus on serving each other and the wider Jewish community.
We meet for regular Shabbat services every Saturday morning from 10:30 am until 12 noon, followed by a light oneg with real Brooklyn bagels and coffee. Our Shabbat service structure is based on the traditional synagogue service, but with some contemporary components and a special emphasis and focus on Yeshua as our Messiah and King. We incorporate elements of the traditional liturgy including the Shema and Amidah, as well as live contemporary worship music. Every week we participate in the public reading of the Scriptures and follow the annual Parsha schedule in concert with the broader Jewish community. After hearing God’s Word read aloud, one of our leaders shares a 30-35 minute message—sometimes based on the Parsha for the week, or another portion of Scripture.
*Also, while we love dogs, we cannot accommodate any pets or dogs in our building unless they are service dogs.
