At Beth Sar Shalom Brooklyn we like to get together and assemble as a community every chance we get! In addition to our regular Shabbat service every Saturday morning from 10:30 am until 12 pm, and our regular Wednesday night Bible study at 7:00 pm, we also participate in several special events.
High Holiday Services: Every year on Erev Rosh HaShanah and Erev Yom Kippur we host free services at the congregation to celebrate these important times of worship. We also host day services for both of the High Holidays.
Simcha: Memorial Day weekend has become a special time for Beth Sar Shalom. That is when we encourage everyone to attend “Simcha,” Chosen People Ministries annual Messianic retreat in Carlisle, PA. It’s a great time to worship, learn, fellowship with other Messianic congregations in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and draw closer as a community.
Congregation Picnics: During the warmer weather we like to schedule a congregational picnic at Marine Park in Brooklyn, where we gather for food, fellowship, and fun!
Camp Kesher: A number of our leaders, members, and kids attend Camp Kesher—Chosen People Minsitries’ one-week sleep-away camp for kids ages 8-16 in Honey Brook, PA every summer. Learn more at campkesher.net!
